Logo for TNW Theater New Works Ensemble TheaterThese three collages were commissioned by Theater for New Works for their production of Step Right Up Ma’am at the Overture Theater in Madison, Wisconsin, opening in June 2024. The writers: Fabu Phillis Carter, Danielle Dresden, and Dale Kushner. The performers: Nedra Bobo Boyles, Liz Light and Eileen Koteles. Staged by Donna Peckett.

The collages were scanned and printed on banners to be displayed on the stage.  The production is made up of 3 women performing works by 3 women writers. The artwork is a visual interpretation of the stories these women tell. The theme is women’s resilience.
